Welcome. Thank you for your interest in learning more about the Big Brotherhood program. The below outlines the structure of the program and what you can expect to experience and learn through participating.
Please note the full version of the program involves in-country travel to Lebanon, where participants encounter a wide range of situations designed to give lived experience to the themes covered in the program.
Due to the security situation in the region as of late 2024 we cannot run this full version of the program and instead are offering a modified online-only version.
Who is this program for?
This program is for men who feel a calling to step into a sense of purpose beyond outer materialistic markers and self-interest. These are men driven by a deep desire to explore new methods of communication, both within themselves and in their interactions with others and the Earth. These individuals long to be part of a like-minded community, or tribe, where they can fully express and develop their potential.
You may be an aspiring leader in your field, an observer of the world wanting to make a change, or simply a man searching for a higher purpose in his own hero’s journey.
What is the goal of this work?
In its broadest sense, the Big Brotherhood program aims to equip participants with the mind, heart, and bodily awareness necessary to develop the new forms of personal and collective leadership needed in our rapidly changing world. This is a sense of leadership that is nuanced, capable of handling conflict and complexity, and seeks the greatest good for all involved.
Men face unique challenges in their lives and roles in society, and the program is designed to recognise and cultivate the most authentic and expansive forms of male leadership that we have lost connection with in today’s world.
What differentiates our program is the core acknowledgment that truly complete self-development work must go beyond the self. This means we aim to connect participants with the full potential of their inner hero’s journey – that which has developed unique skills and insights and is ready to put them into the service of a greater good.
We do not prescribe on what scale these skills should be applied. That is for each participant to feel and pursue.
How does the program achieve its goals?
Cultivating expansive and authentic personal and collective leadership first means training in practices which strengthen our connection to the deepest, most subtle parts of ourselves.
We provide advanced meditation, breath work, and psychosomatic modalities which deepen participants connections to their own nervous systems and levels of consciousness. This foundation enables the expansion of nuanced awareness and interpretation beyond the self and into inter-personal and systemic interactions.
We combine these modalities with training in understanding collective psychology and the role of spirituality in society through the study of mythology, archetypes, and narratives.
We then combine these practices and lessons with daily real-life exercises and experiences which illustrate their subtle role in our lives, and how we can show up differently in pursuit of our goals.
The modified (online only) program is based on four core values - courage, humility, vulnerability, and resilience. The program guides participants in transforming current paradigms based on ego and possession into one with a higher perspective, alignment with spirit, and capacity for action in complex and challenging scenarios.
What is included?
Our coaches will explore the above themes through both theoretical presentations, practical exercises, and group discussions in 12 weekly sessions. Each weekly session last for between 2.5 – 3 hours. It is highly encouraged that you do not miss any sessions.
Participants will also receive six individual sessions with Shireen Maluf, Intuitive Counsellor, Shaman and Certified Coach, and one individual session with meditation teacher and breath work practitioner Joseph Ghaleb. These sessions enable participants to share and explore personal issues that may arise throughout the therapeutic practices.
Participants will also receive selected readings, written practices, and customised presentations from guest speakers which deepen the themes explored each week.
The Big Brotherhood is also an active community of past and present participants, hosting online meeting spaces for collaboration and networking for a better world.
